    When you listen to Darrell perform, you will hear the influences of his favorite performers, as well as his versatility in musical taste which is manifested in his own distinctive style. Darrell likes to call it vocal phrasing whereby he makes his guitar sing to his listeners.

    Although Darrell has turned his attention to R&B (which he comically refers to as Rhythm & Black) his playing knows no boundaries. He can play the Blues like there's no tomorrow, from old school to new school, Darrell can strum out enough funk to make even the funkmasters take notice.
